Jessie J

When we were up in the Sunshine Coast, we saw an TV ad what kept on popping up on the news and it was about a free concert to watch Jessie J and Lindsey Stirling in Sydney! So we went to the market place to watch and we were at the front and on 7 TV.

Wild life Zoo

The day after we got home to Sydney, we went to the wild life zoo in darling harbour. It was full of Australian animals like kangaroos, koalas and lots lots more. We first went in a room with lots of butterflies and birds in and one landed Abbie's head! There were wallabies hopping about and lizards were trying to get out there box. We went down stairs and could see under water and saw a crocodile

then got my own coin pressed. Soon it was over so we got a photo album with us in it and went back home. 

Flying Back!

 We said goodbye to Cairns
because today we were flying
back to Sydney. We got our
bags, went to the airport and
Gave our car back to Thrifty.
Then we got ready to fly back
the city

Kuranda sky rail.

Today we went on the Kuranda sky rail.
Dad doesn't like heights and when we
we're at the top of highest point of the
rail, Dad looked as white as a sheep! We
had to stop at three different stations
and at each station there were little walks
to go on. At the last station, there was a
frog and we had to do our biggest smiles
and we got our photo taken! When we
got to Kuranda we had our lunch and
went in the shops. We then went back to
Palm Cove and had a sausage sizzle on
the beach while we swam in the sea.

Bush fire

When we were coming home from
The croc day, we saw a big bush fire!
It was all in the Forrest and nearly
on the road! I was a bit scared
but luckily it wasn't  near the hotel.
As we drove past, the whole Forrest
had ashes in and I wondered what
Would happen to the animals.

Croc Day

Sunday was awesome! We went
on a crocodile boat trip and did
crocodile spotting. Our boat was
a special crocodile express boat
and it was perfect for seeing crocks!
On our ride we also saw some
special trees, birds and snakes.
 The first crocodile we saw was
a tiny one who was crawling in the
leaves and the second was
sunbathing and his name was
Alfie. The next we saw a Alfie' s
girlfriend, rusty who was also
bathing. When we got back to
shore we got something from the
gift shop and went back to the
hotel.

Boat Trip.

On Thursday 15 August, we went
on a three island boat trip! The first
island was called white Haven beach
and the second, hook island then
the last, daydream island. When
Went to white Haven beach, I went
for a swim and did a lot of splashing
with Abbie! I had lots of fun but
before I knew it the boat was here to pick us
up!

Our First Kangaroo!

When we were at daydream island,

we saw our first wild kangaroo and

it was a baby one!

The day has come when
we go to Palm cove! It takes
1 day to get there but we
are staying at some different
hotels. When we left from
rainbow shores hotel, it was
a 6 hour drive to the first
hotel in Rock Hampton, known
as Rocky. When we got
there, I thought it would be
a proper hotel room but
because we were only sleeping
there for one night, it was
only a room with beds in!
We had pizza for tea then
checked my emails and
went to bed.

Dolphin feeding.

Early in the morning, we woke
up because today we were going
dolphin feeding. I stood in the
water as I saw a fin getting closer
and then a little dolphin appeared!
I was given a fish and put my
hand in the water then Mr dolphin
gobbled it up. The dolphin was
called Patch and he was a boy.
Soon, all the fish were gone so I
waved bye to Patch and then he
swam off to his pod!

Beach Body boarding!

Today I went to the beach with
my new body bord and surfed
some waves. Me and dad ran
out to sea and then a big wave
came, so I got on my body bord,
started kicking my legs but the
wave just pulled me on top of it
then I realised I was surfing the
crest of a wave! I got all the way
back to shore but the next wave
was huge so  when I was on the
top...

I fell off and the wave crashed
right on top of me sending me
tumbling but I was OK. We went
back to the hotel and had a barbecue
tea next to the pool!

In one hours time ...
We had arrived in the sunshine coast
and had collected our bags for a big
adventure! We got our car, which is a
Nissan, and talked to a lady about what
to do. When we got out side we found
our car and then drove off to our hotel,
Brake Free rainbow shores. I had a swim in the
swimming pool then had a good nights
sleep!

To the coast.

Today we went on a flight to
the sunshine coast. We waved
bye to aunty Kate, then Pete
took us to the airport. We put
our  bags on the conveyerbelt,
went to gate 38 and then we
were on the plane

blue mountains: The 3 Sisters.

On Wednesday 7th Blake took
us to the Blue mountains. The
first mountains we saw were the
3 sisters. I had a look through
a telescope and I saw people on
a bridge walking across the sisters.
These are some of Australia's
best mountains which are verry
famous.

Darling Harbour park.

It was a fab day today as
we went to a big park in
Darling Harbour. There
were little water fountains
what I was running in but
then they got turned off
because someone pressed
the panic button! After a
few minutes they got turned
back on. What was an
epic bonus was that we
had McDonalds for lunch!

Big cousin

Opera House.

After we finished the Harbour Bridge Walk,
we went and saw the opera house, which
is a big white building. There were lots of
people there and I wanted to go up the stairs
but Mum said it was too busy. I could
also see inside!

On Monday I went for a walk over
the famous Harbour Bridge. We
went up some stairs and before I
Knew it I was already on top
of it and walking across it! It was
so exciting I decided to do some
cartwheels, making the security
guards laugh!

Manly seaside.

Today we went to Manly for a day at

the seaside.  We travelled by bus, a

doubledecker train and a big ferry. 

While we were there I went wave 

jumping in the surf! I had lots of fun

and enjoyed a chocolate orange

ice cream after an excellent day in the

sea!

Hooooooraaaay

FINALLY!!!

We are in Australia!
On the 3rd of August we arrived in Australia
and saw Aunty Kate, uncle Pete, Simon, and
my big cousin Blake. They took us to there
house and then settled in really quickly, and
had a little chat of my adventure. We went
out side a surprisingly they had a little bird
called bluey. Blake is always a good friend
and there is also a Japanese student
staying and she is called rie. The first night
was ok and I woke up to the sound of
parrots squarking.

Abu Dhabi airport

The first flight was good and I
am now ready for the second
flight with Virgin Australia. The
airport in Abu Dhabi was like
a mosque because there were
lovely tiled walls and they
curved into the middle of the
airport. When we were walking
to our plane, there was convalbelts
What just went straight to give
legs a rest. When me and abbie
Went on it, we were doing the
moon walk and pretending to
surf! We found our plane and
jumped onto it so we could get
ready for a long flight!

Heathrow airport

After a ride on the train we quickly
got to Heathrow as excited as
could be! Me and mum watched
the planes take off and land then
went on a little hunt for our plane
door and when we found it, we
went through a large tunnel and
before I knew it I was on the plane!

We set off in the car and went
Retford train station to get to
Kings cross in London. At
first we went on an electric
high speed train and then
caught the tube to Heathrow
air port.

At last our bags are
packed and we are
now leaving for a
journey of a lifetime!

today with just 8 more
get ups!

YESSS!
6 more weeks until I go!

On our first flight we take the etihad airways route
And then switch planes at Abu Dhabi.

HOORAY!

In the summer holidays I am going to Australia.
